Enacting the future, now
Please note: This event took place in Sept 2021
Trying to make systemic change is really hard work. How do you escape the dominant structures of the moment? How can you resource work that is inherently challenging to the status quo? What do you do when you make mistakes?
Join us for a free panel talk that invites people trying to put change into action to share their stories as part of the Bristol+Bath Creative R+D's Hopeful Futures Seminar Series. The discussion will be chaired by Jo Lansdowne, Executive Producer at Watershed with panel members Melz Owusu - Decolonial theorist and Founder of the Free Black University, Zahra Ash-Harper - Independent Inclusion Consultant and Cameron Tonkinwise – Professor of Design Studies at University of Technology, Sydney.
This discussion will have BSL interpretation and there will be the option of enabling the Zoom auto transcription feature. Please get in touch with the team to let them know if you have any specific access requirements and the team will do their best to ensure they are accommodated.
This event is presented by Bristol+Bath Creative R+D and is part of their Hopeful Futures series of free online discussions that aim to convene a global conversation about how we can develop a better future by exploring sustainable growth, alternatives to capitalist economies, inclusion, responses to climate emergencies, and responsible innovation.
